The Cheesy Gourmets Chef Dan has been making cheese for a long time. It all started with a love of creating fun new cheese flavors by mixing ingredients in with his cheese spreads! Some of his favorites include Sun-Dried Tomato and Basil Cheese, or Smoked Salmon Cheese Spread! As time went by Chef Dan attended Culinary School and learned the methods behind the Cheesy madness! Now it's time to share those methods with you so that you can run wild with your own homemade cheesy delights!

The Cheese Making Lesson will show you how to make all types of wonderful cheeses at your own home! All of the Cheeses we will make together will start from Milk, so it is totally from scratch. We will make cheese spreads with delicious accent ingredients, we will make cheese crumbles like feta and goat cheese, and we will make block cheese that can be sliced for sandwiches or shredded! Wow, that covers all of our favorites!

While you are learning how to make cheese, some nice cheese and crackers will be provided for you to snack on. If you like wine with your cheese, feel free to bring some with you! When the class is over you will go home with a cheese cloth and some milk, and some ingredients so that you can start making your own cheese right away!

When and Where

Our Classes are held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 4-5:30 or 6-7:30. At Findlay Market, or inside Main City Station located at 1420 Main St, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202 In the Art Gallery District of Downtowns Urban Quarter! There are lots of other fun places to visit inside Main City Station, as well as up and down Main St including over 20 art galleries, over 10 restaurants, over 10 gift shops and antique stores, an amazing bakery, and a handful of bars and clubs. So maybe save some time to visit some of the other activities and places to visit before or after your lesson!

Let's Get Scheduled!

Just call to purchase your cheese class, and then you can call to book and schedule it anytime within a year from purchase. Classes are booked on Saturdays and Sundays, and our promise is that you will get to take your class within 2 weekends of calling to book if not sooner! If you schedule your class, and then need to cancel for any reason that's fine, there are no penalties for that, and we can get you in to another class right away!

We have 2 locations at Findlay Market! Our booth is in the Main Market Hall right inside right in the middle! This booth is known as booth number 24 on the Market Map! At our booth we serve our food and drinks! Our second location is in a side building that surrounds the main market hall. This location holds our cooking classes as well as Swirly Bears Ice Cream Parlor! The address for this location is 124 West Elder St Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202. This building is located on the Market Map as building number 68! This location is between Churchills Teas and Market Wines!
